Mike Vick, Plaxico Burress, and now Gilbert Arenas. As an outsider and someone who could care less if Washington even had a profesional team, I applaud David Stern on indefinitely suspending Gilbert Arenas today. Gilbert Arenas has recently become just another spoiled athlete who has overstepped his boundaries thinking he is above the law. This time, rather than following others and promoting dog-fighting, or shooting himself in the leg, GIlbert Arenas thought there was nothing wrong with bringing guns into an NBA locker room. While rumors have circulated that the guns were brought in over a gambling controversy, Arenas claims that he simply did not want the guns in his home anymore.
Unfortunately, now we will all have to sit through the media whirlwind as Gilbert's, "Road to Redemption" begins. I'll be the first to say I don't care, and I'd rather hear more about Brett Favre or Tiger Woods. Besides that the NBA represents the shit stain of professional organizations, no one cares about what happens to a Washington Wizards talented athlete aside from his family, friends, and fantasy owners. At this point I am calling for David Stern to set his example on Arenas, law-officials to punish him promptly, and hopefully we won't have to hear about this nuisance for the next two months.

The thing that pisses me off with this situation is that Arenas says he didn't do anything wrong. Then he shapes his hands into guns and pretends to shoot teammates in warm ups. He represents the league, and that shit just gives it a bad image. Guns loaded or unloaded only bad can happen so why keep arming yourself? Hire a bodyguard or 5...you can afford it.

This is why I hate this story. Gilbert Arenas... very talented. However, he is not a winner. The Washington Wizards have talent and Gilbert Arenas makes them worse. Of course he puts up crazy numbers. But he's a ball hog and is not a guy who makes his teamates better. He's a loser. This story makes him more of a loser. He deserves to be banned by the NBA. Would the Kobe's, Lebron's, or DWade's do this kind of stuff? Not a chance. They know that they are winners not only in the game of basketball but in life. Gilbert Arenas... a loser on and off the court. Ban his dumbass.

Arenas is a fucking idiot. He was on his way to becoming an icon and having an outstanding year for the Wizards and for my soon to be first place fantasy basketball team. Then he goes and gets arrested for guns. Maybe he will stop there. Nope. He then follows this up by saying it isn't a big deal and David Stern is mean for making it one. Grow the fuck up and hope you don't cost me the ship.
